Natural Eyesight Improvement
It is possible to improve your eyesight naturally, whether you wear glasses or not. Natural eyesight improvement techniques, can naturally relax the effects of stress and strain and bring the eyes into better focus.
Remedies can help
Homeopathic remedies can also help. In my 30’s, I noticed my eyesight was getting worse. Fortunately, it was also at this time in my life that I started using homeopathic remedies. Each time I took a remedy that improved circulation or the nervous system, my vision got clearer.
Ideal circulation and a relaxed nervous system enhance every organ in the body. Often it is hard to pinpoint exactly how your health is improving from particular remedies. Back then, I could see much more clearly, which reinforced the effectiveness of that remedy.
Mental Awareness
The world generally accepts that eyesight deteriorates, especially as we age, and is easily corrected with glasses. However, this does not address the function of the eyes themselves. The visual cortex interprets what our eyes see. This is a mental process rather than the physical result of the eyes themselves. Understanding this, it follows that belief and mental awareness in the techniques would improve the eyes more quickly and more easily.
Techniques you can try
Over the years, I found many techniques to aid the clarity of my eyesight. Here are a few of my favourite exercises and natural techniques.
- The finger gate. Hold your thumb fairly close to your face (about 12 to 16 inches away) and focus on that for 3 to 5 seconds. Then take your gaze past that to an object 10 feet away and focus on that. Alternate back and forth to focus close up, then far away. That creates flexibility in your vision. You will see the focus improve both as you go close and far.
- The finger gate, part two. Look past the thumb and focus on the distant object. Notice that you see two thumbs, even though you are holding up one. When you focus back on your thumb, you can see two of the distant object now out of focus. So now the exercise improves not only near and far flexibility, it shows you that you are using both eyes (not just one).
- To improve overall circulation, exercise is very helpful. Walking is simple and works if you do about 20 minutes every day. Enhance the effect on your vision by looking around and really taking in the environment. See everything versus just the next step.
- At health food stores, you can purchase a pair of pinhole glasses. When you wear these, your eyes move to many holes to get the vision of what you are looking at. Your vision can improve from using these a few minutes at a time.
Relaxation is key
Relaxation is very effective to improve your nervous system and see more clearly. One thing we all do is spend too much time on the computer. After a while, we can tell that our eyes are straining. That’s because of the strain of staring at an object at the same distance for too long. Here’s what you can do.
- Every 30 minutes take a break and look around.
- Focus and relax looking alternatively around the room and at a distance like outdoors.
- Get up and walk around if you can.
- Massage your neck.
- Change your focus to something you really enjoy to relax your mind as well.
- If you wear glasses, take them off to allow the eyes to work on their own regularly.
- And finally, blink more often when you are on the computer. That increases the circulation and moisture to the eyes.
