Sometimes, when I do a past life regression with a client, interesting issues come up that give more clarity to current situations in that person’s life, especially in the area of interpersonal relationships.

Past Life Connection

The first time this happened, I was helping a woman work through a situation with a man she kept coincidentally bumping into from time to time. Frequently, she would see this man at a local store, where he worked.  When they would see each other, there was recognition as their eyes met. It was disturbing to her since she was happily married and didn’t know what to do with this connection she felt.  The situation became extreme when she ran into this same man at a resort, where she and her husband were vacationing on Valentines Day!

I sensed she and this man had a past life together.  Using past life regression, I took her to the significant past life they had together that related to what was going on now.  They were to be married but were stopped by circumstances.  In that life, they were never married.  They agreed to get together in another life.

Once we learned this, we healed the past life and changed the agreement. After we changed the energy, the connection between them changed in the present time.  They stopped bumping into each other and the woman felt much more at peace about the situation.

Past Life to Present – Instant Connection

Since then, I have had several clients with situations that were past life related. A deep energy between two people exists in the present, for no conscious reason or connection they have had.  Sometimes a relationship starts.  When this happens, the energy can be clearly connected as a couple or there can be concerns that come up.

Possible issues

When concerns come up, this indicates the connection needs some work for there to be an easy relationship in this life. The physical attraction is usually the first awareness.  Then something deeper in the feeling between them develops when they meet.  Often though, there is little more to the connection.

They are often incompatible in this life.  Unless one or both of them make some big changes, they will not have a deeper relationship. The physical connection is there for good compatibility sexually. The attraction and feeling is there, but little else to commit to a long lasting lifetime connection.

It’s easy to see how an affair could start from this energy. The emotional and spiritual levels are not developed. That is the telling part. Most likely there are other issues that each person is working on in this life that is different from the past life where they met.  This current life is not in alignment with the people they meet that are from past life situations. If the major changes do not occur, it is best to see this as a familiar friendly face from a past life and not take it any further.

When it works…

There are other times when the compatibility is there and the emotional and spiritual connections are aligned.  That is the sign of a great relationship.  If you’re in one of these relationships, you probably have no idea why I’m writing all this. In this case, the past life connection doesn’t have to be acknowledged or even understood to enjoy such an instant, deep connection in the present.

Past life connections are powerful. Any relationship can work when both people are working on the connections and understanding each other.  Having work to do in a relationship doesn’t necessarily mean that you are not meant to be together.  It could show you that this is the area where you have the most work to do in this life.  Such a relationship could be your greatest area of growth potential and evolution.
