Healing Trauma
Healing Trauma – An Essential Tool in Present Life
Trauma affects us all. If you have been blessed to avoid trauma in your own life, you most likely have seen it in your environment. You can try to create the most balanced life spiritually and emotionally, but there will be situations and trauma over which you have no control. When it hits close to home, trauma can remind you of your own past issues that may not be resolved. Healing trauma is so important to finding resolution to these issues.
Everything is connected
When I first started as a healer, I thought, “Why would I learn to heal the spiritual and emotional levels when remedies address the physical problems? It takes so much time and can be intricate.” It didn’t take long for me to understand that there is no permanent healing of the physical body without healing the emotional and spiritual levels. Now I know the spiritual / emotional issues are the root cause of all our suffering and health problems. We actually come into this life with these issues that we are looking to solve. It is the whole purpose of life!
So how do we heal the trauma?
Many people see separate health care professionals for their physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual concerns. Therapists and counselors are in high demand, but often the coordination of treatment between mental, physical, and spiritual concerns is lacking.
I offer something different and deeper. The difference between talk therapy and spiritual healing is that spiritual healing involves going to moments in time that are unresolved. A client may come to me with a physical symptom that they don’t recognize as having a non-physical cause. By linking all levels of treatment together, the bigger picture emerges, and hidden issues are uncovered. My intuitive approach allows me to go with what the body wants and needs to heal. For instance, someone with physical panic attacks needs help now. Therapy takes a while to get to the cause of the panic. I have also seen this healing resolve eating disorders, insomnia, spine and nerve degeneration, digestive issues, and other physical ailments.
My Intuitive Approach
Here’s how it all unfolds. Someone comes to see me with physical and or emotional symptoms. The physical symptoms are often long term problems getting more intense over time. Conventional medical treatment isn’t working well, sometimes not at all. Emotional symptoms can emerge as anxiety, depression, or panic. I sense what is going on physically, emotionally and spiritually. Intuitively, I can determine the relevant issues and moments quickly, usually in one session, and immediately begin to resolve these using regression and/or awareness. At that point, I can begin treatment with remedies that can produce results where often prescription drug treatments and other therapies have failed.
Trauma first aid tips
Here’s what you can do: When traumatic situations occur, be aware of what past moments in your life they may be triggering. Talk to friends who are good sounding boards and provide you with calming influences. If you have long term symptoms, use your own awareness to determine the events that were going on in your life when your symptoms first appeared.
My wish for you, as you begin healing trauma – be courageous. Look at the current or long term past and allow yourself to heal and renew. Feel safe, at ease, and at peace.
