Strategies for removing negative energy
A few strategies I would recommend to you to release negative energy – feel free to try either (or both) depending on what appeals to you. To activate the energy, say the words out loud or to yourself to shift the energy within you and around you. Do this as often as needed to create calm in your environment. This might be once a day for you… this might be once every hour! Whatever is right for you.
This energy is quite “sticky”. Once you have it, the energy does not leave unless you command it to go. Negative energy can affect you for some time, even months, until you or a healer helps you release it.

One master healer I worked with years ago had a mantra to use for this purpose. It went with a ceremony, but commanding the negative or dark energy to leave is very effective. This is what Hanna Kroeger taught:
“In the name of Jesus, I command for any entities or dark forces release, from me and my home, go to the light, go to the right place. Release now, go to the light, you do not belong here.”
If “Jesus” does not work for you, you can substitute, “the Creator”, “the Higher Power”, or whatever along those lines feels right for you.
You could find it helpful to smudge your residence by burning white sage and using the smoke to clear the air. That is a very effective herb to clear spaces.
Other ideas and thoughts:
When the negative energy is coming from someone close to you, you can say something like: “I feel sad (or tired, or whatever you feel), when you are near. Is there something I can do to help you?” Suggest going for a walk in nature or something that nurtures them. If they talk about their concerns, stay neutral and allow their experience to be their experience. If you take on their energy, you will get a sense of that afterward – even trying to sleep and finding it hard can be an indicator.
Don’t worry though: the law of the universe is that negative energy needs to leave when you command it to go. When you feel comfortable with this reality, you will more often be yourself in many situations.
